About Me

Not so long ago, I moved far away from my beloved home-state, Kentucky, to brave the wild winters and apparently flood-waters of northern Illinois, a little north-west of Chicago. I work as a Financial Analyst for a big corporation (seriously, whooda thunk?!). I spend my days with spreadsheets and trying not to trip over invisible cords, and playing with my adorable little doggie-friend, Chico. I miss my friends & family back home more than I can say, ESPECIALLY my beautiful new nieces, but my job is good and I live in a house with a great backyard and a scary basement. Coffee is my only means of coherence before at least 10am, now that the precious Ale8 has left me as an ordinary staple of my life. I read a lot and am a master of the art of procrastination. Read at your own risk...
